Audio-Technica is an innovative mid-range company whose microphones have some of the best features in the market which can compete even against top-priced premium microphones. This microphone too has some impressive features along and comes at an affordable price range.

Pros
Cons

The microphone comes with the cardioid polar pattern and incredible frequency response which captures the voice or audio perfectly without losing the natural tone in the process.
The headphones have excellent noise isolation which helps you seal out external noises altogether.

The neodymium magnets help us get high output level and detailed sound reproduction without any effort. The microphone position can be adjusted according to your desire and the ear cups are padded with a cushion which allows us to use the headset comfortably for a long time.

Given its lightweight and incredible design are added for the comfort of the user. The value for money in this microphone is incredible. It has some impressive features and also is comfortable to use.

Final Verdict

For all starters and amateurs, this is a great option at this price range. Its cardioid polar pattern and frequency response are top-notch. The audio is not loud enough in the speakers and despite having cushion pads it still feels uncomfortable due to short ear pads. Still, it has an excellent value for money I would recommend you to go for this mid-range microphone.

I love Sennheiser and I’m personally a fan of it. Even though they are a bit costly their features and quality prove that they are worth spending money. This Sennheiser GSP 600 also comes in the same list but the only difference is that this one is at an affordable range. Believe me, I’m surprised too.

Pros
Cons

The best thing about this microphone is that it is dedicated to gaming which provides realistic audio. The headset is designed in such a way that it seals out external noises and helps you focus more on the recording aspect. It has a sturdy and durable boom microphone which can be adjusted according to our comfort and need easily. it also has a passive noise reduction which captures your voice but also at the same time eliminates external noises.

When I said Sennheiser is a premium microphone company I meant it. It has an adjustable volume control knob in its right ear cup making it easy to operate and user friendly. Comfort is top-notch in this microphone as it has a dual-material ear pad which keeps your ear cool and comfortable.

The steel hinges on headset suit our ear comfortably when adjusted. Overall it is comfortable to use for a continuous period. The microphone is also durably built with premium materials. The metal hinge withstands extreme movements and sustainable for long periods.

Final Verdict

I would recommend this Sennheiser microphone not because I’m a fan of it but because it is good. The only problem is that headset audio could’ve been better but other than that it’s an amazing choice. You need not worry that it is a gaming microphone because it gets the work done.

Sennheiser EPOS GSP 300 Headset

I am as surprised as you are seeing Sennheiser microphones at these prices. This one is much cheaper than the previous microphone we review. Both of them come under the same GSP series and seeing the name you could’ve figured out that this one is an older and more beginner-friendly version.

Pros
Cons

This Sennheiser headset comes with a flexible life to mute boom arm microphone. You can position it however you want according to your comfort and in case you want to mute your mic immediately because your dog is barking or your mom is shouting you can, wait for it, just lift and it gets muted. Wow!!

Similar to the previous Sennheiser model this one also has a volume control knob in its right ear cup for easy volume adjustment so that you need not manually take time to reduce or increase the volume through the device. It has a stylish ergonomic design which suits all kinds of head sizes comfortably.

The earpads are padded with comfortable memory foam which not only makes feel easy and comfortable but also acts as passive noise cancellation.

The EPOS engineered audio delivers amazing and crystal clear audio. It does not lose any detail. Even I didn’t think I would say this but the cheap pricing is Sennheiser GSP 300’s biggest advantage. Because its Sennheiser, premium and most of worth every penny you spend.

Final Verdict

Although this is one of the best budget recording microphones the microphone feels a bit mediocre and not up to the standards. Maybe I forgot the cost factor and focused on the Sennheiser brand value but it still gives a decent performance. If you want an ultimate premium quality microphone then you may have to look for others.

Logitech is a recognizable company in the field of tech providing some great products in their line ups. The Logitech G Pro X is one such budget headset microphone which provides some great and impressive features with a low and affordable price. Can I take a moment and appreciate how minimalistic and aesthetic it looks?

Pros
Cons

The microphone comes with the latest blue voice technology makes your voice sound rich and clear. It has advanced noise reduction to eliminate background noises effectively. It also has advanced compression. Come on man next-generation DTS 7.1 surround sound in a headset at this rate? It’s fantastic, accurate and top-notch realistic. Consider me a Logitech Fan!

The headset ear pads have memory foam padding which allows you to use the microphone for continuous periods without any discomfort. It has an Aluminium build which makes the headset strong and durable.

Some of the other features are its advanced Pro-G 50mm drivers, USB external sound card and Pro-tuned 5-band EQ profiles.

Final Verdict

Yes, you are right, no flaws. There are some complaints regarding microphone being dead or low on arrival but that has more to do the seller than the microphone quality itself. At this price, this headset microphone offers more value than even some premium headset microphones which is very impressive. Whether you are just starting or using it for professional purposes I would recommend it.

Steelseries is yet another incredible company which I like. They come at an affordable price. the Steelseries Arctis 7 is their addition to the Arctis series which has some great features at an incredible price which makes it an attractive choice.

Pros
Cons

One of the best things about this microphone is its bidirectional polar pattern. For those of you who don’t know what a bidirectional mic means, it captures audio from the front and rear ignoring noises from the sides. The clarity is exceptional and also has an effective noise cancellation for rich sound quality.

The speakers have to surround feature with an extraordinary realistic experience. Even the most critical and low sounds can be heard clearly. Makes you feel immersed. Being a dedicated gaming microphone it checks every box.

The headband is made up of premium woven ski goggle fabric which comfortably fits in your head and is also lightly weighted which helps you use it for hours continuously. It comes at an incredible price range making it one of the most ideal mid-range headset microphones in the market right now.

Final Verdict

At this price I think you can go for it as it does not have any cons, I mean almost. The customer service is reported to be poor which is concerning and I hope they look into it in the future.

Before going into the review, Sony why can’t you name your headphones normally? Please do. Sony is a highly reputed company in almost every field it is present and they have established themselves quite well. This headphone is an almost mid-range microphone, almost because it is quite costly but not that much.

Pros
Cons

Coming to its features I can’t type that much because that’s how many they have. Starting with an incredible noise cancellation feature for rich audio which also eliminates some low-frequency environment noises. It has a built-in Amazon Alexa in the microphone and I can say I’m a fan or maybe even a fanboy of it.

Combined with its hands-free calling and lightweight it is comfortable to use for a long period.

It has an excellent sound quality which seals out external noises with its dedicated QN1 processor for it. It also has a Sense engine which detects your environment and adjusts its audio accordingly.

Final Verdict

It is an almost perfect microphone, emphasis on almost due to its above-average microphones. The microphone is the primary reason we buy it and lagging there is a huge blow. But still, for casual uses and amateur recording, it is a great choice and you will love it. Although not everyone gets a faulty microphone still safe to mention.

Am I the only one who is noticing that most of these headphones are quite affordable? Good for you I think because this one is yet another budget/Mid-range (depends on your budget) microphone. You just have to attach it and pair and you are good to go!

Pros
Cons

It has an excellent dual-mic mode which comes with two polar patterns: Omnidirectional and Uni-directional. While omnidirectional mic captures a wide range of audio from the source, the uni-directional mic provides crisp and clear audio. It also has a one-tap silence to make it easy to operate.

It has an excellent audio quality, thanks to its Qualcomm aptX low latency which delivers almost 5x quality of than a normal Bluetooth microphone according to Antlion audio.

The flexible microphone enables you to position your microphone however you want for a comfortable experience be it in gaming or streaming or a work-related conference. It is compatible with a wide range of devices from Windows PC, Mac OS, Linux and also PS4. You can attach it to any wired, wireless or Bluetooth headphones easily but keep in mind that it needs a USB receiver to be compatible.

Final Verdict

Once again an impressive microphone at an affordable price range. Has some great and attractive features which are amazing for this price. The microphone performance does not feel premium and this is a big deal because being a dedicated attachable microphone it only has one job. Other than that it is a decent option and worth trying.
